Meditation timer
A free meditation timer, any length
Pick a length and press start — a calming visual guides your breath and soft chimes mark the beginning and end, so you can keep your eyes closed the whole time. No app, no sign-up.
How long should you meditate?
There's no perfect number — the best length is the one you'll actually do. 2–3 minutes is ideal for a quick reset between tasks. 5 minutes is the popular sweet spot: long enough to settle, short enough to keep daily. 10 minutes goes deeper and is a well-studied daily dose, while 15–20 minutes allow a fuller, more restorative practice. Start short, stay consistent, and extend when it feels easy.
Silent timer or guided?
A silent timer is perfect once you know what to do. If you'd like a voice to guide you — or sessions shaped around anxiety, sleep, or focus — open the Mynded app for personalized guided meditations, breathing, and sleep support at any length.
Prefer to be guided?
Mynded generates a guided session for your mood and goals — with a calm voice, breathing, and sleep stories — at whatever length you have.
